In an attempt to show my appreciation for these underrated high-fantasy masterpieces, I have compiled a list of 11 high-fantasy novels that should be promoted to more readers and get more attention.
What is high fantasy?
High fantasy, also known as epic fantasy, is a subgenre of fantasy fiction that typically features a vast, intricate secondary world filled with magic, mythical creatures, and complex societies. High fantasy has been a popular genre for decades, with classics like J.R.R. Tolkien‘s The Lord of the Rings serving as a benchmark for the genre. Now, with that being cleared (hopefully), let’s delve into the list of 11 high fantasy novels that are way underappreciated and deserve more talking about.
